Custom Wade Saddle 16 1/4"
This is one of the wade style trees that is next in our build queue. With an expected completion time in June 2024 you can order a custom saddle without the long wait. At this point you can still customize all the parts of this wade saddle.
If this saddle isn’t sold it will go into our normal production schedule and built to our specs. As we go along, this listing will be updated.

Tree Specs:
Ray Hunt style wade made by Double L Saddle Tree (formerly Quality MFG) of Monticello, Utah
Rawhide covered wood
16 1/4” seat - this is the bare tree size and will finish out at 16”
6 1/2” gullet
90 degree northwest bars
4” hand hole
shovel cantle 4 1/2” high by 12 wide
8” swells
3” high Guadalajara horn with 4 1/4” cap
Like all of our saddles, this wade will be built with the following materials:
Hermann Oak skirting leather
Jeremiah Watt Horse Shoe brand stainless steel hardware including rigging plates and conchos
Authentic vegetable tanned saddle shearling sheepskin
Top quality latigo leather
Our custom saddle base price is $4800. This saddle can be ordered as a base price model or include upgrades. Included in our base price is the following:
7/8 Flat plate rigging
2 ½” Stirrup leathers
Smooth out, rough Out, or half/half
Round skirts
Cheyenne roll or straight up cantle binding
Strings
Rear cinch and billets, lined
Martingale dees
Mulehide horn wrap
Vertical blevins
Twisted stirrup leathers
4” Galvanized stirrups with treads and rollers
Latigos
Additional options available to upgrade your custom saddle include, but are not limited to:
Tooling including floral, basket, geometric, or border styles in varying amounts
Build options such as inskirt rigging, exposed stirrup leathers, padded seat, and rope strap
Accessories available include buck rolls, tapaderos, monel stirrups, saddle bags and a martingale
